Yes, it's Rose Quartz, sorry for my English. I have a small smoky-color and black (very dark smoky) color quartz also, use only sometine.

My favorite had to be the Citrine, I felt an immediate sense of physical healing when I felt this one. The next favorite had to be the Prehnite, it has a good safe open minded feeling to it...

The amethyst is nice and warm to wear and its quite relaxing to wear. The hexagon shaped worry beads do feel kind of reassuring, I just have to put my hand in my pocket and grab hold of the beads and I feel ok if I'm worrying.

As for the carnelian, that helps to keep me grounded. I felt all of this when I first opened the package and held the stones, before I knew what they were actually supposed to be, so I guess there must be something to all this stone voodoo

Thanks Chrystal, it was definitely an interesting and mind opening experience - thats one of the special qualities of this place I guess... We are not afraid to take a challenge or give a gift.

Citrine? I have a couple of those. I used to have more actually. I like that stone too. But I don't know anything about it.... I carry it around in my pocket sometimes. Maybe I should try "cleaning/purifying" it like Crystalpaths said?

What exactly happens when you clean a stone? Where does this energy come from? I always knew stones were special, but I didn't/don't think they are that special!

Alex, I love a challenge. What I do, what I am, is sometimes difficult for many to grasp let alone believe. I was happy to gift you these stones to fulfill the challenge and thrilled that they showed you their inner selves and what they could do. Keep them fed and clean and they won't let you down.

Oath, stones are very vibrational. When you hold one or more, they begin to warm or hum, this is their ability to attune themselves to the holder. Like a healer that scans a body for trouble.

Once the stone is attuned and dedicated to helping and healing it's owner it absorbs any and all negative energy be it physical, emotional or spiritual.

One should create a routine to care for and feed their stones. By cleansing the stone(s) you are removing all that negativity from the stone.

I know, Oath, you are concerned about where this negative energy goes...I make it disappear....one should envision it just evaporating and being non-existant anymore, wave your hands around the area to openly dissolve it in your sight, your mind, your belief. Negative energy doesn't hover when washed away waiting to pounce again if it is properly banished.

By washing it away you leave the stone or crystal, clean and ready to be re-charged. I cleanse using clear pure cold water running over the stones in a glass bowl. I have also used sage smoke or mother earth. I am not a salt fan.

To charge you lay your still damp stones on soft cloth, on a window sill preferably, to soak up the sunlight or at times like this, where we have the powerful blue moon, soaking up that energy will make the stone(s) power up and when you hold them again they will purr or warm.

Each stone, each person, reacts differently to each stone when met. I enjoyed reading how Alex met each stone and how he felt and how the stone felt and what it gave to him. He approached something he felt skeptical about with respect and an open mind. I felt very honored.

If you check my site on "what stones do..." you can read more about Citrine. However that is really just a thumbnail of all it can do. Citrine is a favorite, one cannot feel badly when holding one. Another great stone for that is sunstone. I am pleased to help, it is my life.

Thirdly...eh.. what about washing them in a stream? Im supposed to go camping too and figure that's a pretty good oppertunity to try it. Is there a general time frame for how long you should be washing them or should I be able to sense when it is... finished?

As for washing in the stream...absolutely perfection! Can't think of anything more natural than clear cold stream water. So, absolutely wash them there then you can lay them out in this gorgeous magical "blue moonlight" to recharge nitely. Happy trails!

Anyway, I'm wondering that, could I clear the crystal only by mantra (aloud or silence) + intention ? For example, I repead mantra OM RAM (for clearing anything). And is there any diffenrence from clearing in the moonlight, sunlight, or by cold water, salt water?

Of course you all can call me Debs! Kieu, I am truely not sure about using a mantra. It can do no harm. However when we are going to clear the stones & crystals what we need to do is "cleanse them". Thus the sage smoke, water, earth, salt (altho I am not fond of salt), these elements cleanse the things our stones have pulled from our bodies, minds, amd spirits. Then left pristine clean they need to re-charge by laying in the sunshine or moonlight. Some stones are magical in the moonlight...moonstone, lapis lazuli, malachite, citrine and so many more but all love to fill up on sunshine except do not leave citrine in direct bright sunlight for long periods.

I can go on a bit more but I have overdone things here working in the barn getting ready for Wednesday and I hurt, so it is Reiki time! More later if you wish.
