A 'Porfolio thread' is one thread where a person stores all of their posts as separate replies in the same topic. This saves space and allows all entries to be in one definite place for each person. However you can start one thread called "Your Name -- Poetry" and another "Your Name -- Music" and so forth for each area if you like.
